Books haul from the Crossword sale.

Hello,

Just thought I’d share my book haul from the Crossword sale. I bought 16 new books (already finished reading 14) and this times selection has been a mix of chic -lit, Indian mythology and Indian thriller.

For years I have been reading Sheldon, Grisham, Archer, Clancy, Steele, Follet, Forsyth, Reilly etc etc and have been sadly neglecting Indian authors. Since the past couple of years, I’ve been on a mission to set the balance right.

Here are the books I got:

Chic Lit:
The Secret of Happy Ever After – Lucy Dillon
The Greatest Love Story of All Times – Lucy Robinson
Single Girl Abroad – Kelly Hunter
Always the Bridesmaid – Sarah Webb
It Had to be You – Sarah Webb.
Fifty Shades of Grey – E.L. James
A Desirable Residence – Madeline Wickham (better known as Sophie Kinsella – my fave chic lit author)

Indian Authors:
Asura, Tale of the Vanquished – Anand Neelakantan
Govinda – Krishna Udayshankar
Chanakya’s Chant – Ashwin Sanghi
The Krishna Key – Ashwin Sanghi
The Forest of Stories – Ashok K. Banker
Krishna Coriolis Series books 1-5 (Slayer of Kamsa, Dance of Govinda, Flute of Vrindavan, Lord of Mathura and Rage of Jarasandh) – Ashok K. Banker

I’m currently reading Govinda and then will start the last book of the lot, Fifty Shades of Grey…and once that’s done, will go and buy some more 😉
