Lancôme Teint Miracle Review

I know it’s a little late to be writing about a foundation that was launched two years ago. But then, two years is the reason why I am blogging about it now. Coz I have been using it since it’s launch and I simply LOVE it.

Lancôme Teint Miracle Review

Aura in a bottle, a foundation that will give us a flawless, natural, lit-from-within glow, these were Lancôme’s claims and two years on, I’m so happy that the product is performing as promised.

The texture is a light liquid that doesnt sit heavy on the skin. Whether I apply with my fingers or with a foundation brush, it is very easy to blend and I like the fact that it has a mild pleasant fragrance. When I apply it, it looks a little mask-y for a couple of minutes till it settles down. And then, it gives me the natural, dewy, radiant glow.

Pardon my pictures, I still haven’t quite got the knack of clicking great macro pics and have trouble with backgrounds, lighting and flashes.

Although I was eagerly waiting for this product to be launched, I also had my doubts whether it would be suitable for my combination skin and the hot humid Mumbai climate. Now, after using it for so long, I can safely say that my fears were unfounded.

Teint Miracle gives a sheer to moderate coverage which is exactly what I was looking for. I don’t mind that some of the flaws on my face aren’t covered (sun spots) coz that is what makes me look so natural. I really didn’t want my face to look like a mask and so I don’t even use a concealer over them.

Lancôme has a good range of shades and I found one that suited me perfectly (03 Beige Diaphane). The packaging is also gorgeous and the pump ensures that you take out just the amount needed. No wastage and no contamination.

Now I am nearing the end of my bottle (yes, one bottle has lasted me two years and that’s because of two reasons – a little foundation goes a long way, and I dont use foundation daily…just about a couple of times a week), and I cant make up my mind whether to buy this beauty again or to try out the new launch, Lancôme Teint Idôle Ultra. Well, off to Lancôme I go to compare the two and decide.
