Reliving My Favourite Travel Moments….

Gone are the days when hubby and I would travel only during the off-season to escape from the maddening crowds. The monsoons would be our preferred time to travel within India (the Indian countryside looks so beautiful, fresh and verdant during the monsoons) and September used to be ideal for international travel. Now though, with both boys in school, the only time that we can travel is when they have holidays. But Im so glad that they both enjoy travelling as much as we do, perhaps even more!
I was getting totally nostalgic and was going through all those pics when I thought of sharing some of my favourites with you. And since I love makeup, I thought it appropriate to start with this pic (this is me on my honeymoon!!!…lol)
Trying out a new lipgloss at Changi International Airport, Singapore while waiting to board our flight to Australia.

Down Under as seen from up above. I still dont know what that weird white formation is.
The Twelve Apostles, one of nature’s marvels.
The rains had just stopped and the sun had decided to smile upon the pretty town of Nainital.
The Sun playing peek-a-boo with the clouds among the mountains of Binsar
The wonderful Phi Phi Beach Resort, Phi Phi Island, Thailand. This was our babymoon with me being 5 months preg.
Crystal clear waters in Thailand
Taj Savoy, Ooty
Botanical Garden, Ooty. That’s my hubby and son you see holding hands and walking 🙂
Our favourite resort in Goa. It was drizzling a bit when i took the pic. Since we go to Goa at least once a year, I hardly take any pics there now!
SWITZERLAND!!!
Mount Titlis, Switzerland
A little “shelter” just opposite our rental apartment in Lucerne
The Peace memorial with the Eiffel Tower in the background, Paris
L’Arc de Triomphe, Paris
Both boys enjoying the cruise from the cabin balcony, Singapore
On the upper-most deck of the ship. Elder son was more interested in the sea than having his pic taken. And it was also extremely windy.
There are hundreds and hundreds more pics of other places where we’ve travelled to and I had a tough time selecting just a few. Most of the pics also have hubby, kids, sometimes friends so of course those got eliminated.
Hope you enjoyed this post. It has brought back many memories for me….and i long to visit each place again!!!
Oh, I just realised, this is my 50th post on this blog!!! Yeaaaaa 🙂

    1. No I didn’t 🙁 …once u have kids, the travel plans all revolve around what they would like to do. Though I did go to my two faves..Sephora @ Ion and Victoria’s Secret @ Sentosa among others 😉
