Sally Hansen Fast and Gentle Nail Polish Remover -Strengthening ForWeak, Thin Nails.

Recently, all I have been using for removing my nail polish are the nail polish remover wipes that come in cute little round boxes. They are very compact and convenient to tote around in the handbag but they really get over f-a-s-t!!! So, when I saw this Sally Hansen nail polish remover on slassy.com, I bought it immediately.
What the brand claims:
Quickly and gently removes nail polish. A blend of essential nutrients Pro-Vitamin B5, Vitamin E and Whey Protein helps to promote strong, healthy-looking nails and cuticles. Improves soft, weak, thin nails.

This is really a very good remover. It removes even the dark colours really well, and quickly too, without staining the fingers much. Glitter is a little more difficult to remove, but easier with this remover than with those remover wipes. There’s a pleasant fragrance to it too that masks the smell of the acetone.
Yes, this remover contains acetone. I hadn’t read the ingredients when I bought it. But I’m ok with that. After all, I don’t even know whether those nail polish remover wipes have acetone or not coz it’s all written in Chinese (or some such similar font) on the boxes.

The one thing I don’t like about this bottle is that the bottle opening is too big and too much of the product comes out, drenching the cotton ball, and at times, even the fingers and hands. Because of that, there is wastage of product. Even if you squeeze the cotton ball to remove excess remover, there is still too much of it left in the cotton. I wish it had another lid with a smaller hole that would let us control the amount of remover that came out.
The 236.5ml bottle is priced at Rs. 275 which, I feel, is very reasonable. Overall, it is a very good nail polish remover and I’m glad I bought it.
Have you tried the Sally Hansen Nail Polish Remover?
