So, I’m sitting here with this luxurious new face mask that I had ordered from Beautybay.com and that reached me today and I’m looking forward to start using the new toner after I remove this mask (check out the pic I posted on instagram to know which mask and toner). That made me realise that it would be so unfair if I didn’t review this toner that I have been using since November and which has been so good to my skin, the Clarins Toning Lotion with Iris (alcohol free). I had mentioned this toner when I embarked on a new winter skincare regime in this post here and now, finally, here’s why I love it…..
“Alcohol-free toner – with purifying Iris and Sage extracts – removes every last trace of cleanser, leaving combination and oily skin types pristine clean and perfectly radiant. Skin-balancing formula tones and tightens pores, while helping to normalise surface oils.”
Toners have never had an important place in my skincare regime and I rarely ever used toners. Then I got a sample of this when I bought the Clarins Total Cleansing Oil and loved it so much that I was tempted to buy a full-sized bottle. That it is alcohol-free and paraben-free, sealed the deal. Though this toner is meant for combination/oily skin (my skin is combination during summers and monsoon), I made it an integral part of my skincare routine at the onset of winter, when my skin is dry. And surprisingly, it did not dry out my skin at all! I guess the glycerin in it prevented my skin from drying out.

I haven’t used Clarin Toner but your post tempts me to use it! I too have oily skin and it is acne pore.
