Initial Impressions: Love Long Hair Shampoo and Conditioner

Bonjour mes amies,

Sorry for being MIA (missing in action) for a whole week but I was really tied up with a lot of things. I had also gone for a little weekend break to Silvassa (resort review coming up soon) and no matter how much I try, I never have any posts ready in the drafts folder that I can hit publish on.
Anyway, getting back to the topic on hand, I need to tell you how I have been getting on with the mystery “Love Long Hair  shampoo and conditioner. After having used them four times, out of which once was on oiled hair, I can truly say that I am quite liking how my hair is looking and feeling these days. I had even instagrammed a pic of it while travelling to Silvassa (see it here). I don’t normally style my hair (blowdrys and hair irons are reserved for certain occasions only. Don’t want to torture my hair much) nor do I like using silicone-laden serums on my hair regularly so what you see in the picture is just my natural hair. Here are my initial impressions of the shampoo and conditioner……

Shampoo

Love Long Hair shampoo texture

The pearly white shampoo isn’t very thick and has a pleasant fragrance. It doesn’t lather much so I get the feeling that it is probably sulfate-free or perhaps has less sulfate than shampoos usually do. Since there is no ingredient list, I can’t be sure but that is what I feel.

Also, it cleanses the hair very gently and doesn’t cause it to get entangled. Ergo, hair breakage while shampooing is certainly less 🙂 . The shampoo also doesn’t dry out my hair! After one shampoo, I didn’t use the conditioner, just to see how my hair behaved and surprisingly, it wasn’t too dry. Yes, it definitely was very frizzy since I didn’t use conditioner, but not dry.

Conditioner

Love Long Hair range conditioner
The conditioner is creamy but not too thick and most importantly, doesn’t weigh my hair down or make it limp. It doesn’t make my hair look greasy the next day either so that’s another plus.
So, to be very honest, I genuinely am enjoying using both these products.  The more I use them, the more eager I get to find out which brand it is and what the ingredients are. Hopefully, we shall get to know soon..
