About Michael Todd True Organics:

* Made in USA.
* Made with Organic ingredients.
* NO added water.
* NO parabens, triclosan, pthalates or sulfates.
* NO mineral oil, artificial colour or synthetic fragrance.
* NO animal testing (products are tested on the chairman)!
Michael Todd True Organic products are made with 70%-95% organic ingredients. But organic ingredients need some actives to help them perform effectively so the key in making great products is in finding the right blend of organic ingredients and effective, powerful anti-aging and blemish fighting ingredients. To know more about them, you can visit the website here.

One of the best anti-aging ingredients in skincare is Retinol, which is one of the forms of Vitamin A. However, usage of products containing retinol leads to side-effects such as dryness of skin and irritation, changes in the colour of skin, sensitivity to sunlight and even redness and crustiness. The Michael Todd True Organics Antioxidant Carrot Multivitamin Serum claims to give skin all the benefits of retinol without the side effects!

New and improved, Antioxidant Carrot Multivitamin Serumwith Arophira® is a fast-acting vitamin-enriched gel serum designed to comfort and control the symptoms of troubled skin, reduce wrinkles and discoloration and improve skin texture. Reformulated with patented Arophira®, provides the anti-aging benefits of Retinol without the redness, irritation and photo-sensitivity.”

Packaging

Michael Todd True Organics Antioxidant Carrot Multivitamin serum review
The Michael Todd True Organics Antioxidant Carrot Multivitamin Serum (phew…that’s such a mouthful!) comes in a purple pump-top bottle. I love the fact that it has a pump so that the product inside doesn’t get contaminated. The pump too, dispenses just the right amount of product so that there is no wastage. One pump dispenses enough product for my face and then one more pump for the neck. Because I layer my skincare products, a small quantity suffices.
My only gripe is that there’s no way of telling how much product is remaining in the bottle so you never know when you might run out.

Texture

Michael Todd True Organics Antioxidant Carrot Multivitamin Serum texture
This Carrot serum has a lightweight gel-serum texture that gets quickly and easily absorbed into the skin leaving behind a dewy finish (dewy, not shiny/oily). There is a slight sticky feel for a couple of minutes after application till the serum is absorbed entirely into the skin after which the skin feels soft, moist and plumped up. Basically, it looks and feels healthy!

Ingredients

Michael Todd True Organics Antioxidant Carrot Multivitamin Serum - ingredients
Aloe Barbadensis (Organic Aloe) Leaf Juice, Isopentyldiol, Glycerine, Niacinamide (Vitamin B3), Salicylic Acid, Sodium Hydroxide, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil, Crithmum Maritimum (Sea Fennel) Extract(Arophira®), Xylitylglucoside, Anhydroxylitol, Xylitol, Salix Nigra (Willow) Bark extract, Mugwort (Artemesia Vulgaris) Extract, Algae Extract, Saccharum Officinarum (Sugar Cane) Extract, Citrus Medica Limonium (Lemon) Fruit Extract, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Fruit Extract, Pyrus Malus (Apple) Fruit Extract, Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Extract, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Bran Extract, Rosmarinus Officinalus (Rosemary) Leaf Extract, Helianthus Annus (Sunflower) Extract, Daucus Carota Sativa (Carrot) Root Aromatic Extract, Chondrus Crispus (Carrageenan), Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Sorbitol, Xanthum Gum, Maleluca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil, Lavendula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Sodium Benzoate, Hydroxypropyl Starch Phosphate, Benzyl Alcohol, Dehydroacetic Acid, Citric Acid.
Just look at the ingredient list! Michael Todd True Organics doesn’t believe in adding water to it’s products because water isn’t “organic”. Besides, the addition of water means that the products can get spoiled faster and hence need loads of preservatives to increase the shelf life.
The ingredients in this serum are chosen to fight acne as well as the signs of aging. Their patented ingredient Arophira controls sebum and helps in cell turnover. There are loads of acne and blemish fighting ingredients in this serum (ALA, Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin C) along with nourishing and soothing ingredients that also prevent aging (aloe, jojoba, Vitamin B3, vitamin E among others). They claim that this is a serum like no other. And my skin agrees with that claim.
Remember, it has ALA and Hyaluronic Acid so don’t forget to wear sunscreen!

Results

This Carrot serum has truly helped control and stop my breakouts (except for the couple of ones I get around that-time-of-the-month). While it gives a dewy finish, it doesn’t make my skin oily. The T-zone does get shiny after around 3-4 hours. The marks left behind by previous breakouts also seem to be fading a but faster now and though they haven’t totally disappeared, they are visible only up close. I’ve never been fond of wearing concealer and now I find that I don’t really need it. I never had too many fine lines and wrinkles to begin with but the little lines on my forehead and around the mouth area seem a bit less.
Basically, my skin looks and feels wonderful and the credit goes to this Antioxidant Carrot Multivitamin Serum, along with some other products.

Price

The Michael Todd True Organics Antioxidant Carrot Multivitamin Serum is priced at $37 (approx ₹2270) for 30 ml which is almost half of what a certain Visionnaire had cost and that broke me out like a nightmare! Since I don’t need too much product, it will definitely last me around 4 months. And seeing the results, I would say it is worth the price.

Availability

Available on the Michael Todd True Organics website, (click here to buy) they do have Free International shipping on orders over $90.
