Decleor Aromessence Neroli and Hydra Floral Light Cream Review

The most important criteria for skincare is that it should be effective. It should do what it claims to do and for me, things like the packaging, fragrance etc take a back seat. But when products are not only effective, but also have a luxurious texture and heavenly fragrance, they quickly become absolute Holy Grails! The Decleor Aromessence Neroli and Hydra Floral Light Cream are two such products. It’s been just 18 days since I’ve started using these and I’m already in love with them. My skincare ritual has become a very soothing, indulgent and luxurious one thanks to these.

The Decleor Aromessence Neroli is a 100% Natural oil serum with a fine, silky texture. Decleor Aromessence Neroli

Luxurious – one word that perfectly suits the Decleor Aromessence Neroli Hydrating Oil Serum.  It is 100% natural without any parabens, preservatives, mineral oil or colourants. This wonderful blend of oils smells delightful and natural – though if you’re not fond of fragrance in skincare, you might not like it. Just two drops of this oil are all you need for the entire face and neck and unlike other oils that are supposed to be applied after creams, this one goes before the Hydra Floral Light Cream.

While it is incredibly hydrating, it also gets absorbed quite easily. I usually apply the Aromessence Neroli, press it into my face for a few seconds and then let it get absorbed while I get dressed before applying the cream. It hasn’t caused breakouts and has, in fact, helped soothe and calm an itchy irritation I once has on my face – I think it was some kind of minor allergy.

Decleor Hydra Floral Light Cream

The Decleor Hydra Floral Light Cream has the most delightfully decadent texture I have ever experienced in a cream. It has the texture of partially melted vanilla ice cream and a wonderful fragrance as well. It’s quite difficult to describe the texture because it is lightweight yet rich and incredibly hydrating. The fragrance and the texture are very soothing too making these perfect for night time skincare – the perfect way to de-stress after a long and tiring day. Though it is not greasy, it would certainly be a bit too rich for girls with oily skin types. My skin, though combination, is also dehydrated and absolutely loves this as well as the oil. Like the oil, it hasn’t broken me out so far. It also forms a great base for makeup and makes my skin look radiant and dewy even under matte long wear foundation.
