Haircut and LOTD: Featuring Bourjois Rouge Edition in Fuchsia Grafitti

There are days when I get so fed up with my dry, frizzy hair that I really fell like chopping it real short. But whenever I go for a haircut, I always play it safe and just get a trim coz I looooooooovvvvee long hair. In fact, I can count on my fingers the number of times I’ve got my hair cut short, (shortest being shoulder length) and its just four times. And each time, I wait and wait for them to reach my lower back and vow never to cut it short again.

However, these days, the hair fall along with the frizz seemed to make my hair look terrible. And oiling, deep conditioning didnt seem to help either (not that I had the time to do those very regularly). So, this time, when I went for my trim and my hair stylist told me I needed to chop off at least 5-6 inches coz the ends were very dry, I told her to go ahead with it. And you know what, my hair looks and feels lovely. Well, it always does the day it is cut and styled but even now, after shampooing and just air drying, it still looks nice.

This pic was taken two days after the cut, the day of the Vellvette and Elizabeth Arden workshop, so the roots had started becoming a bit greasy and the style too was getting a bit of kink to it.

Since I was wearing light pink jeans and a white top, I decided to go for a bright lippie. And I had recently bought the Bourjois Rouge Edition in Fuchsia Grafitti (reviewed here) which I wanted to wear again. So, here’s the LOTD with this lipstick. The pics have been taken in natural light as well as yellow light so you can get a fair idea about the colour.

As you can see, I still need loads more practise in taking self pics but I’m trying. Please give honest feedback.

And what do you think of the colour itself? Too bright?
