After the lovely Wedding Edition of their hugely popular InstaGlam box, Maybelline has now come out with a “Celebration of Bonds” box just in time for Raksha Bandhan and Friendship Day. This box is about the special bonds in our life, like the bond between siblings or the bonds between friends. Maybelline has tried to encapsulate those special moments in the fun packaging of this box….
Here’s what’s in the Maybelline InstaGlam Celebration of Bonds Box:

* 1 ColorSensational Shine Gloss – Rs. 350
* 1 Hyper Glossy Liquid Liner Black – Rs. 245
* 1 Color Show GlitterMania Nail Color – Rs. 125
While the total value of the products in this box is Rs. 919, this box is available at a discounted price of Rs. 750. (By the way, the Rakhi and chocolates shown in the pictures aren’t included in the box.)
The Celebration of Bonds Box is available in three variants, Coral, Red and Pink. This one, is the Coral one which has the ColorSensational Shine Gloss in Captivating Coral and the Glitter Mania polish in one of my favourite colours, Dazzling Diva.
While I love both, the Colossal Kajal (reviewed here) and the Hyper Glossy liner (the Khaki colour reviewed here), I feel that rather than giving two liners in the box, they should have given one Color Tattoo eyeshadow and one liner. Oh well, eye liners are the basic necessity in any makeup kit.
Here’s a very simple look I created using products from this box. Just winged liner and glossy lips…

I love how shiny and glossy the liner is. And the shine doesn’t fade even after 5-6 hours of wear! The gloss is another winner from Maybelline (reviewed here) and this colour is beautiful whether worn alone or over a lipstick. Captivating Coral is a peachy-orange colour that would look fab on almost all Indian skintones. It brightens up the face without being too bold.
