The Memebox is my absolute favourite subscription box and it takes tremendous willpower to not order all the wonderful themed boxes that are launched each week (click here to see all my Memeboxes).  I however,  prefer boxes that seem to be more skincare-centric rather than makeup-centric since there are high chances of receiving shades that are unsuitable for my skintone. But here’s the Memebox Superbox #49, All About Lips, which is a lip-makeup exclusive box. Did I get shades suitable for me? Read on to know…..

RiRe Tick Tock Lip Gloss

This lip-gloss has a unique push-down button on the lid for revealing the brush hidden inside. Hence the name Tick-Tock for the sound that the button makes. Not only is it hygienic to use, it also gives a glossy, colourful radiance that lasts for a long time.

The shades were randomly selected from Salmon Nude, Chiffon Coral, Blossoming Pink, Peach Orange and Red Beso. I got Chiffon Coral and while it looks like an extremely pretty peachy-coral in the picture, it is far brighter and “neon-er” in person. Not a shade I would dare to wear which is why I’ve kept it intact and not swatched it.

Cheek Room Color Lips

This lipstick is supposed to give moist, colorful and smooth finish to the lips. The colors were randomly selected from Orange Peach, Pink and Red and I got the Red. It isn’t a true, blue-based red like Ruby Woo but more of a vermillion/orange-red. It also has very faint shimmer that can’t be captured on the camera.

ROYAL NATURE Paint Mousse Lip Lacquer

A mousse-type lacquer that glides onto the lips lightly with a silky finish and leaves a matte, colorful radiance that lasts all day. The colors were randomly selected from First Date, Hug Me, XO Baby, Hot Place and True Blood. Unfortunately, I got XO Baby which is a chalky beige that will totally wash me out. I was really excited to try this after reading the description but seeing the shade, decided to leave it untouched because this will definitely give me “ghoulish-coloured” lips.
