Let’s take a look at each of the products and you can tell me how you’d rate them on the cuteness factor…..

HOPE GIRL TINTED LIP BALM

Is the pink leopard print supposed to be an “explosive level of adorable”? I think not. While it looks nice, there’s no Cuteness Overload Factor here. I got Hot Cherry and it does smell really nice. As a product, it is useful because we all need lipbalms and I have them stashed in all my handbags and in each car.
This is a lip balm and a lip tint but I hope it isn’t as pigmented as the Holika Holika one in the Cafe box. That one is soooooo pigmented, it is more lipstick than lip balm! This Hope Girl lip balm has co-enzyme Q10 as well as shea butter to deeply nourish dry lips.

SHARA SHARA FAIRY’S MAKEUP SYNERGY SUN CREAM SPF45 PA++

Ok, here’s a product that does score on the cuteness factor. While several Memebox fans didn’t really like this doll, I did. I think it would look cute on the dresser. A sunscreen with a high SPF is always welcome since I live in a tropical city and the cute packaging is an added bonus. With UVA and UVb protection, it also forms a good base for the makeup and helps balance out uneven skintone and texture.

DDUNG FAMILY FOAM CLEANSING CREAM

The doe-eyed, pink-cheeked cherub looks quite cute but other than that it is just a normal tube. I got the Milky variant which is packed with extracts from milk protein, chamomile flower, lavender, peppermint leaf and rosemary leaf. This cleanser will have to wait for it’s turn since there are other cleansers to finish before I start this.

SHARA SHARA KISSING SUGAR LIP SCRUB

There is absolutely no dearth of Korean beauty products with adorably cute packaging. Cute animal shaped jars, fruit shaped pots and crayon shaped lip products are just some examples of how innovative the Koreans can get with their packaging. And yet, this box has none of those. I got a Shara Shara Crown Lip balm and tint in the All About Lips box and that was cuter than this because of the crown inside.

YOUNGWOOSA OH! IT’S LOVELY AND SOFT CREAM

Ummm, am I missing something here? Could somebody please explain what’s so cute about this product? The packaging? Naah. The picture of the girl? I don’t think so. So what made Memebox add a product such as this in the Cute Wishlist box???
This cream will moisturise the skin and create a protective barrier over it and make it soft, smooth, silky and healthy. That’s all very well, but Where Is The Cuteness Factor???????

TONYMOLY RED CHEEKS GIRL’S PATCH

Is this cute? Well, perhaps a bit, but nothing too exciting. Initially, I thought they were like gel blush patches but then I realised that they were actually for soothing overly dry cheeks. The patches are enriched with rose flower, cherry blossom, apricot, aloe vera, cucumber and green tea extracts. Clap, clap, clap.

My Thoughts

Why Memebox, why? Why did you disappoint us so? There are loads and loads of CUTE Korean beauty products so then why did you have to choose such boring, insipid ones?

This box was priced at $23 + Shipping ($6.99 for standard) which comes to approximately ₹1,850. I also had to pay ₹370 as customs for a box that really disappointed me.
