It’s strange how genetics works, right? All through my childhood and teens, I looked just like my father, especially when I had a “boy cut” around the age of 5-6years.

On the other hand, people living in cold places sometimes envy the year round balmy Bombay weather. They say the cold is fun for a short duration or when you’re on a holiday, but not when it’s for months and you have to bundle up on layers even for small errands.

Took a stroll down memory lane at one of our favourite places since courtship days, Bayview at @hotelmarineplaza .

It holds a special place in our heart as this was where my husband and I had our second “meeting” (the arranged marriage meeting) and then of course, several meals and date nights over the years at Oriental Blossom and Geoffrey’s as well as here.

The food is delicious and hospitality as warm as always. Before marriage, we did a lot of evening coffee dates here; the gorgeous sunset views making them more romantic. But no matter what time of the day you go, you’re sure to have a good time.

While it’s beautiful by itself, I also love layering it with Versace Crystal Noir / Miller Harris Black Datura / M.Micallef Ylang in Gold.

A word of caution though - avoid it in extremely hot weather as it can get oppressive. It’s perfect for the cooler months.
