There are some things that I, personally feel, are timeless. They never go out of fashion and can be worn summer or winter, day or night. Leopard print and red lipstick are two such things. Wavy hair can be added to this list because poker straight hair and tight curls may come and go, but waves are timeless (my opinion, you are welcome to disagree). Recently, I went for a makeup masterclass (don’t ask) and this combination of leopard print, red lips and beautiful waves made me have my Khoobsurat Moment…
Shirt: Zara
Jeans: Levis
Belt: Promod (part of another dress)
Bag: Aldo
Heels: Rockport
The now on – now off monsoon drizzle and crazy heat and humidity usually makes my hair super duper frizzy. Thankfully, the previous day, I had used the conditioner that comes with the Casting Creme Gloss as a deep conditioning treatment and that really helped in controlling the frizz and smoothing out the waves. Besides being ammonia-free and giving a glossy colour, Casting also comes with a wonderful conditioner that has to be used immediately after colouring and again twice before your next colour session.
Usually, backlit pictures don’t come out too nice. However, I really liked how the lights behind give a glow-y, halo-like effect in this picture. As always, I have done nothing to my hair, no blow dry, no ironing, but I quite like the retro vibe they give. What say?
Not a very nice picture I know, but the only one that shows both, the brown tint in my dark hair and the red lips. I love the combination of leopard print and red lipstick and whenever I’ve worn this combination, I’ve always got compliments. And even before I get compliments, just looking in the mirror makes me feel Khoobsurat.
What do you think about this look? About this combination? Do you like leopard print and think it can be worn in any season? Oh, and don’t forget to send in pictures of your Khoobsurat Moments for the contest here for a chance to win a gift hamper from L’Oreal. 27th August is the last day to enter.
