Hi Shringaristas,
I know I have been MIA (missing in action) since a few days but things were just too busy and I also had a bit of a writer’s block. There were so many things floating around in my head but refusing to be penned down. Or rather, typed out! Anyway, here I am again. Yesterday, two brands, both from the L’Oreal Paris umbrella, had their launch events back-to-back and I have some pics for you from those events. And my OOTD….
First off was L’Oreal Paris introducing us to two additions to it’s family. One was an addition to the product family while the other was an addition to their “Women of Worth”. Katrina Kaif joins Aishwarya Rai Bachhan, Sonam Kapoor and Frieda Pinto as the fourth Indian face of the brand. The launch event for L’Oreal’s new 6 Oil range was Katrina’s first media interaction as the brand’s ambassador.
The new 6 Oil range is “a fusion of tradition and technology” where the eastern traditions of oiling the hair are combined with scientific research to give us this range of products that contain a blend of 6 oils: Coconut, Olive, Almond, Camilla, Jojoba and Argan. The range consists of a shampoo, a conditioner and an “oil” which can be used as a serum post hair wash. Which makes me feel that it’s going to be loaded with silicones…. Have a look at the pics which aren’t really good coz the media people were right in front and all i was getting on cam was the backs of their heads! BTW, I absolutely LOVED her Louboutins!!!
You can watch this video of her media-interaction that I came across on youtube since I didn’t take a video myself…
Lancome Dreamtone Serum Launch
After the L’Oreal event, it was time for the Lancome Dreamtone launch. The ambience at the Lancome event was actually dreamy and totally beautiful as it was by the poolside. And it was pink all around in keeping with the pink bottle of Dreamtone, from the pink roses to the pink corsages that the team wore to the soft pink lighting, to the pink drinks being served.

Pink lighting, pink decor, pink placards and strings of crystals add to the dreamy ambience. |
Don’t miss the pink rose petals on each step. |
And here’s what I wore to the events:
Jumpsuit: Promod
Black Patant Heels: Rockport
Blue Sling: Tory Burch
Cuff: Pipa+Bella
Thanks 🙂
