Armani Code EDP Review
I love the sleek, curvy bottle of Armani Code Femme with the flowers silhouetted on it. The pale blue to midnight blue gradient on the bottle resembles the late twilight sky.
A seductive new fragrance for women, Armani Code Pour Femme is a fresh, sexy, feminine blend of zesty blood orange, ginger and pear sorbets softened with hints of sambac jasmine, orange blossom and lavender honey, warmed with precious woods and vanilla.
The first sniff of Armani Code took me back to 2002 to my courtship days when my favourite night fragrance was Hugo Boss Deep Red coz the top notes of Code smell almost identical to the sultry, sexy Deep Red. Or at least, that’s how it felt to me.
The fragrance is warm and sensual, graceful and understated and yet playful and warm. It isn’t overpowering and won’t announce your presence to the room before you walk in (unless you go overboard while spraying it on.) I spray it on just my pulse points (which include the backs of my knees too) and it lasts really long, 6-7 hours, on me. Though the accords state white floral, I feel it has more of a fruity-musky scent rather than sweet floral.
This is a perfect fragrance for nights but I’m the kind who wears these kind of fragrances during the day too. If you have an important meeting at work or something, a strong, sensual fragrance just makes you feel that much more confident. That’s my opinion and you might not agree with me since fragrance is a very individual choice.
Armani Code Femme EDP is priced at Rs. 4900 for 50ml which is the price range most premium fragrances fall under. Personally, I love it! And like I said, it truly is the perfect sexy, sultry fragrance for a hot date on a hot summer night 😉
