So, this texturising salt spray helps wavy haired girls to get frizz-free, defined, tousled waves that look effortlessly sexy. Honestly, this is just what is needed in the summers when Mumbai’s heat and humidity turns even the most beautifully blow-dried hair into a frizzy mess. And this doesn’t just look effortlessly sexy, it is effortless to attain as well! All you have to do is spray it on to wet or dry hair and scrunch it or define sections of your hair with your finger tips.

I used it on my recent trip to Daman, sprayed it on damp, post swim hair, scrunched it, and let it air dry. And it did give my hair the “beach waves” look…

Ok, this isn’t a very good picture since it was taken late at night, but at least you can see the waves and the texture of my hair. I did truly get textured beachy waves that lasted all day without becoming an undefined mass of frizz.

One thing to remember, though, is that this gives your hair a matte finish. So if you’re looking for glossy, shiny waves, then this isn’t for you. But to be honest, when you go to the beach, the salt water gives you matte waves, not shiny.

Priced at ₹700, the L’Oreal Professionnel Beach Waves is a good buy for the holidays when you want fuss free hair that looks good. Just 2/3 sprays are enough if you don’t want your hair to feel “crunchy” and stiff.

  1. Seems like a good product…. but I still prefer shiny soft hair so I think I will stick to my hair serum 😉
