While I love multi-tasking products in makeup, for skincare, I believe in different products for specific purposes – like a separate moisturiser and sunscreen – because that is usually the most effective for your skin. However, sometimes, you come across some multi-tasking skincare products that perform beautifully. One of the latest additions to The Body Shop family, the Tea Tree 3-in-1 Wash Scrub, Mask is one such product. Read on to know more….

Packaging
The Tea Tree range from the Body Shop is one if it’s most iconic and best selling ones; and with good reason too – the products are effective and do what they claim to! Some new products have been added to this range, of which The Body Shop Tea Tree 3-in-1 Wash, Scrub, Mask is one. It comes in a practical, travel-friendly tube with a flip-top cap which is perfect for such cream-textured products. Such a packaging is fuss-free and mess free and doesn’t occupy much space on the bathroom shelf.
Texture
Thick, creamy and gritty is how the texture of The Body Shop 3-in-1 Wash, Scrub, Mask is. Despite having a gritty texture, the cleanser/scrub/mask hybrid doesn’t feel abrasive but you do get a good “scrubby” feel at the same time. As a face wash / scrub, it cleans the skin very well without leaving it feeling dry or stretchy. Of course, it doesn’t remove makeup, nor does it claim to. I use it every alternate day (since I have been having some weird breakouts these days) avoiding the active breakouts and I love how soft my skin feels after using it. It also feels tingly due to the tea tree oil and menthol but doesn’t sting or burn my skin. Once a week, I use it as a face mask and leave it on for about 7 minutes before scrubbing it off. I make sure I don’t let it dry completely so that it is easy to scrub it. My skin feels refreshed and very clean after using this Wash, Scrub, Mask and the pores appear reduced too because they have been cleaned so thoroughly.

My Views
Besides the rich non-abrasive texture that effectively deep cleans without stripping the skin of natural oils, I love the fact that The Body Shop 3-in-1 Wash, Scrub, Mask contains tea tree sourced from the foothills of Mount Kenya. TheBody Shop is known for it’s ethical and fair trade practices and for economically helping the natives from where the products have been sourced. This is a wonderful multi-purpose product, especially great for those with oily / combination / acne-prone skintypes and I love how fresh my skin feels after cleansing / scrubbing / “masking” with this.
