My favourite season has started! Yes, I love the rains and anyone who has experienced the monsoons in Bombay will know what a beautiful season it is (as long as you don’t have to wade through water-logged roads, get squashed in the local trains and buses among wet raincoats and umbrellas etc).
Sometimes though, the continual downpour and grey skies does get to you and you want something nice and bright and cheery. So you dig out the Bourjois So Laque polish #33,Tangerine Fatal that you had purchased months ago, and voila, you realise that this is just what the cosmetic doc prescribed!
The So Laque range from Bourjois has some really beautiful colours and is said to give “Ultra Shine and hold for upto 7 days”. This colour is a really nice, bright tangerine.
I love the formulation of the So Laque range coz it really gives a shiny, lacquered finish. It isn’t very thick, isnt streaky and two coats give good opacity but with visible nail line. Maybe three coats would give total opacity but i didnt want it to get too thick. I wish it did last on my nails for 7days though. But I doubt there’s any polish available that can archive that! But, it did last on my nails for three whole days before it started fading from the tips and that’s good enough for me.
I’ve worn the Sephora – OPI Only Gold For Me top coat on my ring finger nail. Does look quite nice with the tangerine doesn’t it?
When I bought this polish, it was priced at Rs. 350. I don’t know if the prices have gone up now.
I love wearing this colour on rainy days. You like????
PS- my broadband connection is FINALLY working! Yayyy 🙂
