I had experienced Thalgo products at a spa in Thailand some years ago so I was very happy to know that their skincare products are now available in India and was eager to try them out.
Here’s some information about the French brand, Thalgo:

When Thalgo sent me their Collagen Eye Roll-On to try out, I was really excited as the skin around my eyes is really dehydrated and has fine lines. I love my Shiseido Benefiance WrinkleResist Eye Cream, and while it hydrates my undereye skin, it doesn’t help with the puffiness. And puffy eyes is what I have EACH morning because I never get more than 6 hours of sleep (usually less than 6). This is what Thalgo claims about the Collagen Eye Cream:
The ultimate anti-puffiness weapon! The massaging, ice-cube effect of the 3 metal balls combines with a concentrate of anti-puffiness, anti-dark circle and smoothing active ingredients.
I have to say that I LOVE the cooling, soothing sensation of the three metal balls in the unique applicator. It feels so wonderful on my tired, puffy, sleep-deprived eyes and yes, it works in reducing the puffiness! If you have normal skin under the eyes, this one eye cream would be enough for you but since my undereye skin is as dry as the Sahara desert, I need to apply a richer cream (the Shiseido one I told you about) on top of this. These two wonder products are all I need for my eye care regime.
One of the active ingredients in this cream is caffeine and as we all know, caffeine helps in draining excess fluid and hence, reduces puffiness. The other active ingredient is yeast which helps in reducing dark circles, but in my case, the genetic factor coupled with sleep deprivation ensures that no cream helps! So I really can’t say whether it helps with dark circles or not. It also has native marine collagen which moisturises and smoothes fine lines and wrinkles, but I find that the moisturising isn’t enough for my dry eye area.
If your main eye concern is puffiness, then I highly recommend this one. (Thalgo recommends this cream for the 25+ age group). You will love the cool feel of the three metal balls. If, however, you have really dry undereye skin, you might need to supplement this with a richer cream. The 15 ml tube is priced at Rs. 1700 and while it is expensive, you don’t really need much product so this little tube should definitely last for about 2-3 months.
