“Change is the only constant in life!”
This simple statement is so true for all facets of life, isn’t it? Even where makeup is concerned, from never daring to wear red to wearing all shades of that colour, from applying foundation with my fingers always to using makeup brushes to get an air-brushed finish, there have been several changes there as well. And the makeup brushes that I simply ADORE and use with liquid and cream base products are the Sigma 3DHD brushes – the 3DHD Kabuki Brush and the 3DHD Precision Brush. Read on to know why these are my favourites…
SIGMA 3DHD BRUSHES REVIEW
About the Sigma 3DHD Brushes
“The 3DHD Kabuki Brush is a multifunctional brush engineered to perfection. It was uniquely designed for all areas of the face to apply liquid, cream and powder products uniformly on every curve, crease and angle.
The 3DHDÂ Precision is a multifunctional brush engineered to perfection. It was uniquely designed for smaller areas of the face to apply liquid, cream and powder products uniformly on every curve, crease and angle.”
The unique double-wedge flat surface of this brush with the ridge  on the top is what makes these brushes so very fabulous. Just like the F88 Flat Top Kabuki, the 3DHD brushes too have plush, densely packed bristles that are super soft. The brush helps spread and buff in the foundation in even difficult to reach places like the around the nose and on the upper lip. The 3DHD Precision brush is my preferred tool to apply concealer under the eyes since it reaches even the inner corner of the eyes comfortably. I love the airbrushed finish that I get when I apply foundation with this brush; absolutely flawless!
Both the brushes have  long handles making them very comfortable to hold. I have been using both of them since about a year and depite washing them every fortnight, there hasn’t been any shedding neither have the bristles lost their softness.
I mainly use the Sigma 3DHD kabuki brush with my liquid foundations as well as with my favourite MAC Studio Tech cream foundation. It can also be used to buff in powder products though I haven’t used it for any powder products as yet. The Sigma 3DHD Precision brush is my absolute favourite for applying concealer under my eyes.
Priced at $19 (approx. âš1290) for the Sigma 3DHD Precision and $24 (âš1630) for the Sigma 3DHD Kabuki, these brushes are worth every rupee! Availability was a major issue till date since these had to be ordered online  and then of course, you have to deal with the Indian Customs (who have really been harassing me for my packages). Now, however, Sigma has tied up with an Indian firm and the products would be available in select salons and their website.
Have you tried the Sigma 3DHD brushes? What’s your favourite way to apply foundation? Do let me know in the comments below.
They are my favorite too. đ I ordered both of them last year from Luxola. Since Luxola have closed down it’s business in India it’s good to hear that Sigma will be available in India. Btw on which site or saloon would they be available?
I love using stippling brush for my foundation. I am now eager to try Sigma 3DHD brushes đ
