While the world has truly shrunk and internet has made international brands more accessible, it comes at a price – high shipping charges for international deliveries. One of my favourite international brands which has awesome makeup brushes, is Sigma Beauty which also has pretty high international shipping charges – $14.95 for International Non-Trackable Mail and a whopping $45.95 for International Express! Thankfully for us, the Sigma Beauty Indian Independence Day Sale is here! From August 15th – 17th, there is a flat 20% off site wide as well as free international shipping on orders above $50 on using the promo code INDIA20.
Before I start with the products shown in this picture, check out my previous reviews on some of the other Sigma bestsellers:
This week, Sigma sent me some more amazing products and here are my first impressions on these…

The Sigma Beauty Basic Eyes Brush Set contains 7 professional quality brushes for the eyes. If bought individually, these would total up to $111 making this set a really good buy. From eye-liner, to pencil, to shading to angled brushes, this kit has all the essentials one needs to create the perfect eye looks. All the brushes are made with soft SigmaTech and Sigmax fibres and are just wonderful. I already have a couple of these brushes since quite a while and have noticed that they don’t shed or loose shape even after washing.

The Sigma Smoke Screen Eyeshadow Palette has 12 shades in different finishes with cool undertones. The mix of matte and shimmer shades make it a very versatile palette and help create various looks for day to night. While I found some of the matte shades to be a bit powdery and chalky, the metallic shades are absolutely stunning and have great pigmentation. My I especially loved the shades Opulent, Ember, Rave, Nebula and Atmosphere. The black shadow in the palette is lovely too and has a slightly sheeny satin finish. Below are swatches of all the 12 shades.
Like I said, the shades in the palette are stunning and I can’t wait to start using it. I do have a couple of bold eye looks in mind that would be out of my comfort zone but no harm in trying, right?

I have used the Sigma Power Crayon earlier in the shade Sigma Pink and these crayons are intensely pigmented! They have a lovely creamy texture yet give a soft matte finish and are very long lasting too. They leave a stain as they fade and come in beautiful shades. The Crayon set in Bold has the following three shades:
Stage Name – A bold coral.
Signed, Sealed – Soft, dirty, red rose.
Own It – Deep Purple.

This is one product that I was super excited about since I have never tried a shimmer cream before. At first glance, it looks very similar to MAC Hush and on my skin, they both look almost identical. It is great to brighten up and add a bit of highlight to the cheek bones without looking like over-the-top high-beam glittery. It’s subtle and that’s what I like. It also works great as an eyeshadow base.
Sigma Beauty seriously has some amazing products. What better time to shop than now when they have a flat 20% discount site wide as well as free international shipping with the code INDIA20. Definitely not an offer to be missed.
